Vector V104 GPS Smart Antenna offers superior navigation including accurate heading and position performance. V104 uses SBAS (WAAS, EGNOS, MSAS, etc.) for differential GPS position allowing Hemisphere GNSS to provide a low cost and highly effective heading and position based smart antenna.
The rugged and low-profile enclosure combines Hemisphere GNSS’ Crescent® Vector technology and two multi-path resistant antennas for accuracy, portability and simple installation. The smart antenna, measuring less than a half meter in length, mounts easily to a flat surface or pole. The stability and maintenance-free design of V104 provides traditional GPS position and heading at a low cost, replacing the combination of low-accuracy GPS and fluxgate compass.

The RockBLOCK device is IP68 rated and hosts an Iridium 9602 unit, an antenna and a voltage regulator. The 9602 unit is interfaced with RS-232 using AT commands. Depending on the conditions, the unit can send or receive a message approximately every 40 seconds. The cost is 0.1 to 0.05 GBP per 50-byte message, depending on the bundle that is bought. In addition, there is a 10 GBP line rental per month. The system has a limited bandwidth and is therefore only suitable for simple control monitoring or tracking applications. The maximum package sizes are 340 bytes for sending and 270 bytes for receiving. Although the latency is typically a few seconds, it may be as much as a minute or more.
Victron BlueSolar MPPT Controller
The Victron Blue Solar MPPT Controller is an maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller that optimizes the impedance seen from the PV panel for maximum yield. The device has a battery input, a PV panel input, and a load output. The battery input and load output are connected inside the device, but current is measured separately so that consumption can be estimated. Additionally, the device has a port for communication interface. The communication link is called VE.direct. The device is not water resistant, for this reason it is mounted inside an IP67 rated case.

The Owl VHF is a small, yet high performance radio transceiver packed with features. It's very flexible internal architecture allows a wide variety of modulation types and encoding. Rather than the typical SDR approach where samples are processed by an external device, the Owl does all its processing internally. A large command set regarding modulation, encoding and user protocol is configured through a serial port.
